Religious people speak of the end of days occurring because of "rampant homosexuality" and other behaviors they find deviant. However, I would say that if anything is a precursor to the Apocalypse, it's the enormous amount of violence being perpetrated against SGL individuals and people simply perceived as SGL.
The latest in a long string of attacks against SGL citizens occurred in Long Island on October 13 when three young men (pictured above) viciously attacked a fourth young man because they perceived him as being homosexual. What I don't get is why the three of them had to attack a young man they undoubtedly thought of as a "punk." The cowards. And the adults on the bus didn't properly report the incident.
I still contend that the reasons degenerates like this feel that they can behave in such brutal ways against the SGL community is because of the hateful rhetoric of religious leaders and politicians, as well as the rigid gender standards enforced on society by patriarchal thinking.
Two of the perpetrators will be tried as adults. Good.
