Celebrating the life of Jerry Leiber, part of the legendary duo songwriting team of Leiber and Stroller, who passed away of cardio pulmonary failure. He was 78.
Leiber and Stroller, were best known for writing such hits as "Stand By Me", "On Broadway", "Jailhouse Rock" and others. There is a great article where Jerry said he wanted to write for only black artists as he felt he was black. LOL. It's a great article which you can read here!
