DL Chronicles

DL Chronicles is a great show produced by Quincy LeNear and Deondray Gossett. It first premiered back in 2007 and was an immediate hit. Well HERE TV, bought the rights for it and aired it for awhile before shelving it and not living up to a promise to produce a 2nd season. This is very similar to how LOGO fucked over Patrick Ian Polk and his show "Noah's Arc". It became quite evident that mainstream white LGBT networks didn't want to promote shows featuring positive images of People of Color in the LGBT community.

Now that the rights to the DL Chronicles are now back in the hands of the creators, they are launching a campaign to relaunch this great show for 2012. Below is a video which they explain what happened, whats' going on now and what they are planning for the future. AMERICAN HORROR STORY MARATHON: ARE YOU GONNA WATCH?

FX will air a special Halloween marathon of the
new hit drama "American Horror
Story" featuring the first four episodes of the series on
Monday, October 31 beginning at 10:00 PM E/P.

In addition to the Halloween marathon, series
Co-Creators and Executive Producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have produced
a special two-part Halloween-themed episode in honor of the horror-filled
holiday; the first hour aired Wednesday, October 26, at 10:00 PM ET/PT and the
second airs Wednesday, November 2, at the same time.Feature film star Zachary Quinto (Star
Trek) guest stars in both episodes as one of the house's former owners.

"American Horror Story" revolves
around the Harmons, a family of three who moved from Boston to Los Angeles as a
means to reconcile past anguish. The all-star cast features Dylan McDermott as
"Ben Harmon," a psychiatrist; Connie Britton as "Vivien Harmon,"
Ben's wife; Taissa Farmiga as "Violet," the Harmon's teenage
daughter; Jessica Lange in her first-ever regular series TV role as
"Constance," the Harmon's neighbor; Evan Peters plays "Tate
Langdon," one of Ben's patients; and Denis O'Hare as "Larry
Harvey." Guest stars for the series include Frances Conroy as the Harmon's
housekeeper, "Moira"; Alexandra Breckenridge as the Harmon's
housekeeper "Moira"; and Jamie Brewer as Constance's daughter
"Adelaide."

As ruas e praias ensolaradas das Bahamas servem de cenário para essa suntuosa e corajosa estória de amor interracial e fazem contraposição às nuvens negras trazidas pela França homófoba e intolerânte endossadas pela religião. Johnny (Johnny Ferro) é um artista introvertido vítima de bullying nas ruas de Nassau, até mesmo pelo homem com quem dormiu na noite anterior. Ele vai para uma ilha distante, para que se foque em seu trabalho. Lá ele conhece Romeo (Stephen Tyrone Williams), um cara bonitão e simpático que se oferece para mostrar as belezas da ilha e muito mais. As coisas azedam quando chegam a noiva e a mãe de Romeo, que se recusa a entender as inúmeras pistas que ele deixa para que ela se situe. 

Em seu retrato muito pessoal dos relacionamentos, tolerância e auto-aceitação, Mortimer acerta em cheio em seu drama com fotografia esplendorosa que faz uma crítica social mordaz.
